SSU & Pelusium setup

In EVE Frontier, your storage units (SSUs) hold cargo at structures and stations. Pelusium needs permission from the SSU owner to run pickup and delivery steps on-chain for freight jobs that use those units.

Think of it as: “This SSU is allowed to participate in Pelusium hauls.”

One-time authorization (per SSU)

  1. Open Pelusium’s SSU / Pelusium setup flow from the app (Shipping links here; older in-app wiki routes forward to these docs).

  2. For each SSU that will appear as pickup or drop-off on jobs you care about:

    • Connect the wallet that owns (or controls) that SSU in the game’s linkage model.
    • Submit the authorize Pelusium extension transaction the app prepares.
    • Approve it in your wallet on the correct Sui network (same one the app is using).
  3. Repeat for pickup and drop-off if they are different SSUs—both sides need authorization for their respective steps.

If authorization is missing, pickup or deliver will fail on-chain even if everyone did the right thing in-game.

Per-job approve pickup (pickup SSU only)

Authorization is not enough for collateralized hauls. Before a courier can execute pickup, whoever holds the OwnerCap for the pickup SSU must approve that specific job. This stops a courier from withdrawing cargo without the storage owner’s consent.

  • On the job card in Shipping, the pickup owner sees Approve haul pickup (they may need to paste their OwnerCap object id).
  • Partner listings and shop asks do not replace this—the seller still approves when it is their SSU.
  • Couriers cannot execute pickup until approval is on-chain.

See Shipping & freight jobs for the full order of steps.

Opening Pelusium from the game (SSU browser)

EVE Frontier lets you open a web page on a Smart Assembly—including a storage unit—from inside the client.

  1. Go to the SSU in-game and interact with it (F by default). The in-game browser opens the Smart Assembly page for that unit.
  2. If you own the assembly, you can set a custom dApp URL there (Pelusium’s web address). After you save, you and visitors can use that site in the game browser with the right assembly context.
  3. You need SUI in your wallet for gas, and EVE Vault is the wallet the Frontier dApp stack expects. Official guides: Connecting in-game and Connecting from an external browser (CCP / EVE Frontier).

The in-game browser is how you reach the app at the structure; it does not replace authorization, approve pickup, or the haul steps in Shipping.

Tips

  • Plan which SSU is pickup and which is delivery before you create the job, and double-check object IDs if you paste them manually.
  • Sellers listing via a partner app still authorize and approve on the same pickup SSU they advertised.
